 
Project attributes
You can configure SD Elements to include custom Project attributes that apply to all projects. Track organization-specific information or other meta information important to your project work.
Customized attributes are displayed on a project’s overview page:
 
They can also be edited like other project attributes.
Attribute details
A custom project attribute has the following details:
- 
Type: The text or Date. 
- 
Label: A human-readable label that is displayed in the Project Edit form. 
- 
Slug: A unique system-generated identifier. 
- 
Message: An optional help/explanation message that is displayed in the Project Edit form. 
- 
Mark this attribute as optional: This indicates whether or not this attribute is optional. 
Add a project attribute
Create a new project attribute by following the steps below:
- 
The user has the system Super User permission. 
- 
Click System→Custom Attributes. 
- 
Click Add New Attribute.   
- 
Fill the details for the attribute.   
- 
Click Save. 
The new attribute is now available in all projects.
Delete a project attribute
You can remove custom attributes from the sytem. Follow the steps below to remove one or more attributes from all projects:
- 
The user has the system Super User permission. 
- 
Click System→Custom Attributes.   
- 
Select the Delete checkbox beside each attribute you want to remove. 
- 
Click Save. 
This removes the attribute and its values from all projects in the system.

Reorder project attributes
Project attributes are displayed in the system according to their position in the System→Custom Attributes list. Update their order by following the steps below:
- 
The user has the system Super User permission. 
- 
Click System→Custom Attributes.   
- 
Click and drag the attributes in the list to match the required order. 
- 
Click Save. 
This updates the attribute list order for all projects.
