SD Elements 2026.4

As of September 2025, Security Compass will maintain the three most recent versions of SD Elements as explained in the SDE Version Support Policy. Customers on older versions should plan to upgrade to a supported version using Upgrade Notes for all versions between the current and target version.

What’s new?

  • FIPS mode is now documented and configured under global.fipsMode.enabled. See FIPS Mode.

  • Third-party CA certificate directory is now configurable via global.thirdPartyCACertificates.certDir, adding support for RHEL/UBI-based environments

  • Resolved the MCP network policy issue described in the SD Elements 2026.3 known issues

Upgrade Notes

FIPS Mode value relocation

Customers with FIPS mode enabled must update their custom values file. The configuration has moved from sde.fipsMode to global.fipsMode:
