Assess current resource requirements (CPU, memory, storage) of your VM instance. The container deployment of SD Elements will require, at minimum, the same CPU, memory, and storage.

Catalog and share modifications and customizations of the VM instance with SDE Support by emailing sdesupport@securitycompass.com

Create custom values file using the Configuration Mapping table

Review backup and restore documentation

Confirm access to the SD Elements Helm chart

The VM instance and target container instance are on the same SD Elements build version

Stop cronjobs

Disable integrations and issue trackers

(Optional) enable maintenance mode

Notify SDE Support when VM instances are no longer required
